Vehicle Advertising Policy

Dealers must take reasonable care to ensure that information supplied about a vehicle is accurate.

Advertisements must not deliberately or recklessly misrepresent information including:

• vehicle make and model;
• age;
• registration;
• mileage;
• specification;
• fuel type;
• transmission;
• condition;
• price;
• availability; and
• material vehicle information.

The price presented to consumers must not be misleading.

Dealers must clearly disclose compulsory charges in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection requirements.

Dealers must not advertise an artificially low headline price and subsequently introduce unavoidable charges in a misleading manner.

Images should represent the vehicle being advertised unless it is made sufficiently clear that an image is for illustration purposes.

Dealers must have the right to use photographs and other content uploaded to Fast Cars Dealer.

A dealer advertising finance is responsible for ensuring that its finance promotion complies with applicable FCA and other legal requirements.

Independent dealers must not imply that finance is being provided, arranged or approved by Fast Cars Dealer unless Fast Cars Dealer has expressly authorised this in writing.

Dealers must not submit, commission, purchase or encourage fake or misleading reviews.

Fast Cars Dealer may remove advertisements involving suspected:

• fraud;
• stolen or cloned vehicles;
• materially misleading descriptions;
• misleading prices;
• unauthorised financial promotions;
• intellectual property infringement; or
• unlawful activity.

Repeated or serious breaches may result in suspension or termination of the dealer's account.
